Living room in Renaissance Hamburg Hotel
The location of the hotel alone makes it a superb choice. Located on the most luxurious shopping street in the city, 300 metres from the Binnenalster lake and Jungfernstieg U and S-Bahn stations, and on the Grosse Bleichen, the border between the Altstadt and the Neustadt, it feels very central. The Rathaus is close by. Our standard room was comfortable, quiet, spacious (for its class), equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, and had a nice, if compact, bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. If returning to the city I would certainly stay here again.

The location of the hotel is very close to the center which is very convenient. I wanted to applaud the staff at the reception (you are the stars!!!!). I arrived to the hotel very late and I lost my phone in the Taxi. The reception was calling the taxi company multiple times in the evening and then next morning. I had to go to the meeting and return to the hotel after lunch. The reception managed to retrieve my phone from the Taxi company!!!!!! I was so touched by their care! I was offered a drink to help me calm down. This is such a rare kindness these days!!!

On-site parking was very useful. I also appreciated the street view from the room—it was a nice bonus. The room was clean and maintained daily. I highly recommend taking one of the free tours (2–3 hours) around the city, port, or historic sites—they're a great way to discover more about the area.

Spacious room and good walk-in shower - which I had asked for. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice - fresh fruit, yogurts, seeds/oats, salads plus all the usual cooked food. Lunch and snacks reasonably priced. Very quiet in the room and good temperature. Windows that opened.
